23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards 2017
The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for 2017 were conferred in numerous categories of film and television series at a glittering award ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on January 29, 2017.
Denzel Washington won the “SAG Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role honour” for his role in Fences. Emma Stone won the same honor in female actor category for “La La Land”. Viola Davis took home the outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role for Fences.
John Lithgow won SAG award for his role in the crown in Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama series category. Lily Tomlin was honoured with the SAG Life Achievement honour.
